Most of my portfolio consists of sports photography and photojournalism. I'd like to expand the breadth of my portfolio. Currently, I'm just looking to do graduation, wedding, fashion and casual portraits, providing the client with all images on CD and prints of the best images from each session. I can shoot on location or set up my own studio lighting. Photo shoots should be fun and relaxing in order to get the best results, and professionalism is a must. I prefer to work near where I live, in Gainesville, Florida, but I also visit Jacksonville and Orange Park often. I get to Tampa and Tallahassee a few times per year, and could also travel to Orlando, Daytona and St. Augustine depending on the assignment, if it works around my schedule. I'm 29 and attend the University of Florida to complete my degree before going on to concentrate on sports, wedding and portrait photography. I'm from northwest New Jersey, and moved to Florida in August 2001. I worked as a wedding photographer's assistant for 5 years up there and photographed more than 100 weddings. I plan to start my own studio in the next year. I enjoy photography, but not as a hobby. I learned most of what I know about photography from working with film and darkrooms (while working with a German professor and professional who were both strict, organized and disciplined), then learned digital photography and PhotoShop as the medium gradually improved. I'm very proficient in the technical aspects of photography, and only photograph people. For me, it's been a talent and a profession.
