Well it has been one hell of a week, but we are finally here. The launch. The site has been completely re-built from the ground up on a brand new server, which means we have implemented the most recent web technology into it.
Among all the 100+ new features & fixes are:
- YouTube Account Integration
- Project Playlist Integration
- New Picture Manager
- Blogging
- New Message Center
- New Profile Layout
- Avatar Generator
- Brand New Forum
- News Feed
- and more...
Speed: Lot's of people have been writing saying the site has been super slow, so we are on a new server which is much faster, and all the pictures have been optimized to allow even greater speed.
So What's Coming Next? Ton's!!!
Groups: To start we are now categorizing all members into 4 Categories. Models, Photographers, Athletes, and Artists. (Musicians have been pushed into the Artists category.) Later this week we will be launching the ability to Create groups. This way everybody can join whichever groups they want and create the ones that are not there. No longer are you stuck with just Models, but you can find people with similar interests in the Fashion and other industries.
Banner Generator: We have created a flash based Banner Generator that allows you to create banners to be place on other sites. You will have full text control and cropping control over all of the pictures in your profile. Look for that later this week.
Templates: More and more templates will be able to be found under the Settings » Themes section of the site and we will be adding many throughout the coming months to spruce up your profile. If you have a template you wish for us to include, we will be allowing users to generate their own in the near future.
Lot's More: There is so much more that is coming that we can't tell you about yet but are really excited about.
KIND Industries is about to grow by leaps and bounds and we are all really excited in the direction we are taking it, and we CAN'T THANK EVERYBODY ENOUGH who have been here from the beginning, and I promise you your in for a treat in the coming months!
